Plot: An English librarian called Evelyn Carnahan (Weisz) becomes interested in starting an archaeological dig at the ancient city of Hamunaptra. He gains the help of Rick OConnell (Fraser), after saving him from his death. What Evelyn, her brother Jonathan (Hannah) and Rick is unaware of if that another group of explorers are interested in the same dig. Unfortunatly for everyone, this group ends up unveiling a curse which has risen the dead High Priest Imhotep (Vosloo). Now The Mummy is awake and its going to take a lot more than guns to send him back from where he came from.

Crazy Credits: We know about 2 Crazy Credits. One of them reads:

At the end credits of the film, the main cast and crews names are first presented in hieroglyphics, then change into Roman(English) fonts that have a hieroglyphic-like look to them (the rest of the credits are also in this font). After the main cast and crew is named, the rest of the credits, instead of scrolling down in traditional straight lines, are staggered in snake-like patterns, while hieroglyphics are placed in various areas of the credits and on the screen.

Continuity: Dawn in the desert strangely creates mid-day shadows.

Trivia: There are 25 entries in the trivia list - like these:

• During the scene where the people are chanting, the supporting artists began to change what they were chanting from the correct Egyptian phrase, to "Ohwhatanarseyouare" during rehearsals. Before long, they were all chanting it, and did so on the final take. Nobody on the crew noticed during filming, and it therefore remains in the film.
• Brendan Fraser passed out while filming because the noose around his neck was too tight.
• Blixa Bargeld, of the German industrial band Einstьrzende Neubauten, is credited as having provided the "spirit voices".
