    Plot Outline: A trio of ex-servicemen begin smuggling innocuous black market items into post-war Britain but through greed they graduate to more sinister cargo.
    Plot: After intense wartime naval experiences a trio buy their old ship but then have to use it for smuggling and worse, before finally having to come to their senses.

    As the credits play, Menchi the dog walks up to a microphone and begins singing a sad tune in dog speak. A woman in the lower right-hand corner provides translations. The song is about Menchi, who is about to be cooked as a meal. Occasionally, a hand (presumably Excels) drops down from the top of the screen to sprinkle salt on Menchi. As the curtains close in the end, the hand picks up Menchi and wisks him off.
