Plot: After a lonely summer on Privet Drive, Harry returns to a Hogwarts full of ill-fortune. Few of students and parents believe him or Dumbledore that Voldemort is really back. The ministry had decided to step in by appointing a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher that proves to be the nastiest person Harry has ever encountered. Harry also cant help stealing glances with the beautiful Cho Chang. To top it off are dreams that Harry cant explain, and a mystery behind something Voldemort is searching for. With these many things Harry begins one of his toughest years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Goofs: We know about 21 goofs. Here comes one of them:

Continuity: When Harry and friends are riding in a cart from the Hogwarts Express station to Hogwarts, in a shot from behind, Luna Lovegoods head is facing to her left. In the following reverse angle, her head is facing to her right.

Trivia: There are 36 entries in the trivia list - like these:

• Dario Marianelli was considered as a possible composer for this film.
• Evanna Lynch beat 15000 girls and 29 finalists for the role of Luna. When it came to viewing the finalists, she was the ninth person in the audition videos and one of the producers, David Barron stopped viewing after her saying, "She is Luna." Unknown to them, Lynch actually wrote a letter directly to J.K. Rowling.
• The Department of Mysteries set marks the first time that a totally computer-generated set was used throughout the movie. Building the set practically is too expensive since an estimation of 15000 crystal balls are needed and it will take a lot of time to clean and setup again if a retake is required.
