The Missing Person - Directed and written by: Noah Buschel - Starring: Michael Shannon, Frank Wood, Amy Ryan, John Ventimiglia - Release date: January 15th, 2009 (Sundance)
Love the ending.. “alright get out of my house”.. “I’m seriously its late uve outstayed ur welcome..” then im sure Eric looked at him as if to say “ok r u serious or jokin?” but then laughed it off xx
The release date did u mean 2010?? because 2009 has already gone and I havent heard about it in London and surely it wouldnt be in Cinema still 6months later!!
Cute Vid, Ur gawjus guys!
And I like how Paul is from the acting scene in front of the camera and ur focusing on behind the camera – college wise cute! x
I have been fan of Noah buschel since hisweird boarding school movie bringing rain. Neal cassady from IFC was good too. Haven’t seen the missing person, but knowing work of mike Shannon and buschel, it probably was not intended for the twilight set. You guys like twilight, not ozu. This is the problem with film critics who know nothing about film. The Internet gives a voice to people who can’t even structure an idea. Like these two angry kids.
I think that might’ve been Transformers, although he didn’t not like it, just wasn’t ‘OMG amazing’ like Eric was. Wolverine was positive all around if I remember correctly.
Well, I was gonna put in my teeth, find my walker, drive down to the theater at about 10 mph while causing three accidents on the way, and see this movie, but I guess after seeing this review, I’ll just reheat the other half of last night’s TV dinner and watch Lawrence Welk again…what a shame cuz I thought it would appeal to my generation……
See I love this kind of stuff. I love dissecting the films that I go out to see, discussing what I like and don’t like, but also giving enough respect to the movie, seeing it from the movie maker’s pov. I wish that my friends, like yours, would be interested in it too, not just judging the movie from what they recieved from it, ya know? But nah, none of my friends really care. lol.
But anyway, awesome review Eric!! Like always, and props to Paul!! for giving his view on the movie as well.
:]
Definitely one of your better movie reviews. Your friend, Paul, offers great balance to you. He has plenty of intelligent comments. For once, I actually felt like the relationship/conversation was equal, instead of your being the main commentator. Do more videos with him.
your friend is kinda cute ^-^
i couldn’t even sit through the trailer.
yay… i love paul!
you seem like such a sweet, intelligent guy
u havent even seen the movie… shut the fuck up detroit clyamidia
*YAWN* “Sorry, I was just thinking of the movie.” Hahaha, and: “…not someone in my generation…” haha!
You guys are cracking me up.
